Greg Nees, Ph.D.

 

is the founder and president of The German Connection, Inc. Greg is an internationally recognized trainer, coach, facilitator and educator. He is also the author of Germany – Unraveling an Enigma, a practical, in-depth guide to German culture and business behavior.

 

Greg has been working in the intercultural field for more than twenty years and is an expert in German-American issues. He speaks German fluently having spent 13 years living and working in Germany as well as obtaining a master’s degree in applied linguistics from a German university. Greg also holds a B.A. in Psychology from UCLA, and a Ph.D. in Communication from the University of Colorado at Boulder. His doctoral research focused on American and German communication patterns.

 

Starting in 1999, Greg’s work focus shifted towards helping global leaders and international teams develop more cultural intelligence. He has provided individual coaching and led workshops for young executives on their way to positions of global responsibility as well as offered teambuilding workshops for international teams composed of members from around the world.
